ACNE PHOTO/CLEARENCE
Are You Plagued With Acne
According to the National Institutes of Health, 17 million people in the US are afflicted with Acne Vulgaris. Over 80% of the population aged 14-30 will suffer from acne regardless of gender, skin type or geography and 25% will have permanent scars.
Traditional topical applications and oral drug therapies can have negative side affects and can take at least 3 months of continuous treatments while conditions often worsen before they improve

That’s All About to Change.
SpectraClear to treat mild to moderate inflammatory acne lesions in 1/3 the time it takes for standard topical and oral treatments, without adverse side effects.
What Causes Acne
The Culprit Acne is caused by androgens, male hormones present in both men and women. These hormones stimulate oil production, and the excess oil clogs hair follicles where bacteria cause acne pimples and blemishes. Stress stimulates the gland that produces androgens.
So if you heard that acne was caused by adolescent hormones that would soon stop running amok, that advice was only partially right. Seems you never really grow out of hormones.

A blocked pore develops an anaerobic environment which is ideal for P. Acnes bacteria development.

LHE technology uses the combination of green-yellow wavelength light to penetrate deep into the skin. This light causes proliferation of endogenic porphyrins to attack and destroy P. Acnes bacteria. The red wavelength light provides anti-inflammation results, while heat from the light delivered to the skin accelerates the photo thermal reaction and bacteria destruction.

LHE provides a favorable acne clearance rate of up to 90% after a treatment program of 8 sessions.

Not Just a Teenager's Malady
New research indicates that as many as half of all adults suffer from that supposed teenage malady -- acne. Warm weather and suntan lotions make summer the season for acne but according to a new poll, stress is the real culprit as adults worry about everything from their wedding day to an important job interview.
"Fifty years ago, we were taught that acne was an adolescent disease," The New York Times recently quoted Dr. Albert M. Klingman of the University of Pennsylvania medical school as saying. "That is no longer the case."
The new survey, conducted by market researchers Zogby International, found that women are only slightly more likely than men to suffer from acne, but women faced with stress on the job are much more likely to report having acne breakouts than other women by a margin of 14 percent.
Of those who said they suffer from acne, 45 percent said this occurs every few months, and 26 percent said acne plagues them at least once a month. That job interview? Twenty-one percent of adults surveyed said that was their worst acne nightmare. Only a wedding day was higher (31 percent) on the acne fear scale. Third on the list for men: a big date (16 percent). So what is the solution?
Photoepilation: The 21st Century Solution
The SpectraClear System features proprietary LHE (Light and Heat Energy) technology based on the principle of selective photothermolysis.
SpectraClear delivers a deeply penetrating green-yellow wavelength light to activate a photo thermal reaction in the porphyrin molecules, causing the release of free oxygen to destroy P. Acnes bacteria. Heat simultaneously delivered to the skin accelerates the photo thermal reaction and bacteria destruction. The additional red wavelength light activates the porphyrin to reduce the inflammation common to acne lesions.
A comprehensive program of 8 treatments over a 4 week period has been proven to provide acne clearance on average of up to 90%. Treatment sessions are simple, virtually painless and virtually stress free. This is an important consideration when treating teenagers or easily agitated adult patients.
